Clinic closed early today- not so many patients, apparently everyone is out trying to stock up on everything.
The gas stations are out of gas I am told, and the stores are out of so many other items as well.
Several member of our team hopped a tiny airplane on a 5 minute notice this as and headed to Port de Paix to help staff a 145 bed hospital there. Apparently they have some more cholera and are more directly in the path of the storm. We may or may not head up there when Tomas exits as well.
Or not!

The power just went out- is back now- we are planning a movie night here at MTI for after supp so hopefully the generator will keep on trucking.
Don't worry about us- we are so far away from the hurricane that only the rain should be a bummer.
