The last day of Quisqueya Crisis Relief as an active medical group was Friday. There is no way for me to express the awe and gratitude and love that I have for the people that organized this program.
As of April 6 (37 days before they closed) over 55,000 Haitians received medical care through their volunteers, they housed/supplied 50 volunteers a day for 80 days, and received over 4.2 million USD in medical supplies.
They are now in the process of turning back into a school and are getting ready for the 275+ students that attend this private Christian school.
One of the main organizers, Miquette Denie, is hard at work with an organization that she founded for Haitian children- check out the website:

http://www.teachaiti.org/

TeacHaiti is a non-profit organization supporting education scholarships for children in Haiti. Miquette Denie is the founder of TeacHaiti. She grew up like millions of other children in Haiti, with little access to clothing, food or healthcare. She writes: "because education has given me the audacity to dream dreams I had never thought possible before, I want to do the same for these brilliant children".

If you are interested in donating money to Haiti we trust Miquette completely and have seen her in action working tirelessly for months organizing QCR.
TeacHaiti is doing wonderful things for the kids~ empowering them and giving them a future that they so deserve.

Peace,  Julius
